Blast monitoring made simple
The Vibrosound CM2/QB2 is the latest in the award-winning range of vibration and air-overpressure monitoring systems from Sandbach-based SureWave Technology Ltd, exclusive distributors of Magus Electronics monitoring systems.
Simple to set up, often in less than 1min, the device automatically records each vibration or noise event when the trigger level is exceeded. If the modem option has been specified, SMS texts will be sent for each event if selected in the set-up. The included Windows software and separate reporting software make the process of report generation a simple task on the office PC.
The system can include any or all of the following additional features: noise (LEQ’s); vibration; and wind speed/direction. The data is accessible via SMS texts or full remote download.
In addition, despite the often high level of noise generated by working operations, the device can be used to monitor slope stability in open-pit sites thanks to a special patented feature that can see through this noise to detect signals tens of thousands of times smaller.
