BA2323 - New Basic Line Sandvik Breaker

Sandvik Mining and Construction is currently introducing a completely new Basic Line of breakers to be available as an option alongside their established well proven high performance BR Line. The new Basic Line will initially consist of three models: BA505, BA707 and BA2323 offering simple and cost effective solutions for many breaking requirements.

Simple in design, Sandvik’s new Basic Line utilises fewer working parts for reduced maintenance and lower owning and operating costs . The sealed nitrogen piston type accumulator protects the carrier’s hydraulic pump during operation from pressure peaks in the breakers hydraulic circuit. The design incorporates a long and heavy piston aligned with a genuine Sandvik tool ensuring optimum impact energy transfer with less recoil, minimizing carrier wear.

Silenced box type housings, which will be specified for the UK market, offer increased noise reduction, making them the number one choice for urban applications.  Where noise is not an issue then side plate housings with both top and side mounts are also available.

Although simple, the Basic Line benefits from proven technology; the use of genuine Sandvik parts produced from only the highest quality raw materials; and manufactured to Sandvik quality control standards.

Key features of the new line can be summarised as:

  • Simple design with piston type accumulator
  • Long heavy piston for optimum power and performance
  • Easy maintenance
  • Sandvik quality
  • Cost effective breaking solutions

The first unit to be available in the UK market is the BA2323, which was launched recently at Scot Plant, and can also be seen on the Sandvik stand at Hillhead on 22-24th June. Details as follows:
