JSP introduce first online verification system allowing end-users to check the DNA of their PPE
JSP have announced the introduction of JSPCheck, a unique online checking system for each and every one of their Mk Evolution safety helmets. The launch follows recent news reports of sub-standard counterfeit hard hats circulating on the international market.
JSP say they are the first manufacturer to offer an online tool to trace and validate the DNA of their PPE. The JSPCheck system can be accessed via a new website launched this month at: www.jspcheck.com
Every JSP Mk Evolution safety helmet is manufactured in Oxford and has its own unique manufacturing barcode. Each barcode reveals everything about the individual DNA of a particular helmet – the date and time of manufacture, the materials used, the machine settings, and the relevant batch testing information.
JSPCheck allows end-users to access this full product traceability system to validate their helmet. By following three easy steps on the website, the user will receive JSP’s response in their inbox in less than one minute. The check can be performed on any PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone from anywhere in the world.
JSP say they have total production control and operate a strict batch testing system under both their ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) and their British Standards Institution’s (BSI) Kitemark. Their products also significantly exceed all relevant international performance standards.
