Aggregate Industries restructure UK management team

FOLLOWING his recent appointment as chief executive officer of Aggregate Industries, Bill Bolsover has made a number of changes to the company’s senior management team to maintain the company’s strong momentum in the UK.

Colin Jenkins and Jim Crick have been appointed as managing director and deputy managing director, respectively, of Bardon Aggregates, with responsibility for over 150 aggregate, sand and asphalt sites in the UK.

Geoff Parkin has been appointed as managing director of Bardon Concrete and will also take responsibility for Aggregate Industries’ offshore businesses, which comprise Ronez on the Channel Islands, Bardon Vectis on the Isle of Wight and the Halsvik joint venture in Norway.

Finally, Hugh Armitage has been appointed as managing director of Bardon Contracting, the national surfacing and civil contracting division of Aggregate Industries.

Commenting on the changes, Mr Bolsover said: ‘Our UK business has experienced several years of growth. These changes are designed to ensure that we continue to deliver customer value and operational excellence in aggregates, ready-mix and other value-added activities.’
