Aggregate Industries provide support for woodland development
Staff at Aggregate Industries' Croft Quarry in Leicestershire are helping to create a new woodland wildlife habitat with the planting of 2,000 trees.
Volunteers from the quarry have been helping local group Croft 2000 to plant the first 550 trees in a scheme to establish Metallum Wood. Aggregate Industries have also undertaken to provide for the early care of the woodland, which will be situated within the quarry boundary.
