Aggregate Industries choose Svedala

Svedala slurry pumps have been chosen by Aggregate Industries for their sand and gravel operation at Newbold Quarry near Burton upon Trent.

Replacements were needed in December last year when breakdowns and lack of spares availability on two existing 8in slurry pumps necessitated cannibalizing one to make the other one operational. Svedala HR pumps were subsequently chosen and the first pump was installed within days of ordering with the second being installed in January.
