Nature After Minerals: Creation of Reedbeds

RSPB Langford Lowfields

This Nature After Minerals (NAM) training course introduces the principles behind the design and establishment of new reedbeds, from concept through to practical considerations and the requirements of target species. This will be followed by case studies about creating new reedbeds on former extraction sites, and a site visit.

The day consists of an indoor morning session with guest speakers and land management experts providing advice on the subject in hand; a light lunch with the opportunity to network with other delegates; and a site visit to learn from on-the-ground examples of relevant best practice.

Spaces are limited to 25.
