MPA annual lunch and business conference on 'Government as Client ... Delivering for the Public Sector'

 

Marking the return of Mineral Products 2022, this special event will feature a focussed business conference in the morning facilitated by BBC News and Business presenter, Samantha Simmonds, followed by a welcome opportunity to socialise during a three course sit-down lunch. Church House Westminster can accommodate 350 guests for lunch with tables of 10 seating companies and individuals hosting their colleagues and guests.

 

The theme for the business conference sessions is ‘Government as Client … Delivering for the Public Sector’ and will focus on ‘pipeline and procurement’ in Infrastructure, Housing and Construction with key speakers and panels from organisations such as the Environment Agency, National Highways, National Infrastructure Commission, Infrastructure Delivery Group, DfT, HS2, Homes & Community Association and BEIS/Construction Leadership Council.

 

Speakers include Lord Daniel Finkelstein, OBE, former Executive Editor and Associate Editor of The Times, advisor to William Hague and John Major, and working Peer with a particular emphasis on urban regeneration and infrastructure, Andy Powell, Innovation Manager, Environment Agency (EA), Malcolm Dare, Executive Director for Commercial & Procurement, National Highways, Melissa Zanocco, Head of Programmes, Infrastructure Client Group, Fergus Harradence, Deputy Director, Infrastructure & Construction, BEIS and Robin Lapish, Senior Supply Chain Manager, HS2.
