Mike Hanlon to focus on ports and rehandling solutions in Great Britain and Ireland

LIEBHERR Great Britain and Ireland have announced the appointment of Mike Hanlon as ports and rehandling specialist for the region.

Mr Hanlon (pictured) has 20 years’ experience with Liebherr, originally as an engineer and then as part of the sales team, before taking up this new position within the company.

He is particularly involved with special projects that involve technical input to meet customers’ requirements, and brings a wealth of knowledge and a focus on the unique requirements of the ports industry.

Liebherr material-handling equipment includes a range of models for dry bulk handling and loading, as well as telehandling machines for palletized, baled and loose materials. The product range includes wheel loaders, dozers, as well as bespoke handling machines.

Mr Hanlon also works with colleagues in Liebherr’s Maritime Crane division who sell harbour-based cranes and lifting equipment, along with container-handling equipment, in both mobile and gantry-based formats.

‘With such a range of products in the portfolio to offer the ports industry, we have solutions for every port in the country,’ said Mr Hanlon. ‘Finding the right product or combination of products for each customer’s bespoke application makes every day different.’
