Hill Engineering move up a gear with new head of commercial

Former McLaren business manager Alex Holmes joins Northern Ireland-based attachments manufacturer

SPECIALIST plant machinery attachments manufacturers Hill Engineering have moved into the fast lane with the appointment of a former McLaren global network development manager as their new head of commercial.

Alex Holmes joins the Co. Down-based business after eight years with the automotive giant and a total of 11 years in the automotive specialism.

A Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from the University of Portsmouth, Mr Holmes will head up Hill’s commercial and sales functions , including the sales support and after-sales teams at the factory.

His remit to drive future growth for the Hill brand and to explore new markets and commercial opportunities, both domestically and internationally, will also focus on customer service.

Commenting on his new role, Mr Holmes said: ‘I am very excited to be bringing a collaborative approach to all initiatives and combining strong stakeholder relationship management with a data-led focus to deliver the results Hill Engineering are looking for.’
