WPS and Iona Waste Systems open day follows success at Hillhead 2010
Buoyed by interest received at Hillhead 2010, Iona Waste Systems will be showcasing their new Airtrac 3200S in action at an event organized in partnership with Waste Processing Solutions (WPS).
Taking place on Tuesday 20 July, at Macclesfield, bookings can be obtained by contacting WPS – part of the Finlay Group - on 01785 282323.
Launched at Hillhead, the Airtrac 3200S utilizes the latest in air separation technology to deliver a versatile, mobile waste-processing machine suitable for a wide range of waste sectors.
The plant delivers the necessary technology and expertize to allow customers to recycle up to 95 per cent of their construction and demolition and/or construction and industrial waste material. It is particularly effective in managing small fraction fines clean-up, ranging from 0mm to 50mm. Once processed, the materials can be used as high-grade recycled products such as aggregates, steel and refuge derived fuel.
The plant is manufactured in Northern Ireland and combines German technology from two market leaders - Hein Lehmann and Westeria.
WPS are appointed dealers for Iona Waste Solutions in England and Wales.
Leon Sheehy, a director of WPS, said: ‘This open day provides an opportunity to see the machinery in action, and discuss any queries.’
Hubert Watson, managing director of Iona Waste Systems, said: ‘We had a great deal of interest at Hillhead.
‘We are holding the open day to build on that and to engage further with companies specializing in the screening and processing of difficult waste products, to demonstrate how they can gain maximum opportunities for converting waste products into profit.’
