Volvo CE focus on needs of Chinese customers

Equipment manufacturer to unveil new products designed specifically for Chinese market at Bauma China 2012

VOLVO Construction Equipment will be introducing a new line-up of products and services at Bauma China, including more tailor-made solutions for the Chinese market than ever before. Highlighting the importance of the region, Volvo CE president Pat Olney will also attend the event and host an international press conference.

A variety of ‘new to the market’ machines will be on show, including the latest L105 wheel loader, which can quickly be adapted to a range of varied tasks. The loader features a six-cylinder Volvo engine delivering high torque at low rev/min for greater power and better fuel-efficiency.

Also on show will be the new D-Series excavators, most notably the Volvo EC80D model that offers high digging forces, fast cycle times and improved fuel economy in applications such as trenching, small-scale excavation and road construction.

Measuring 2.66m in height and 2.3m in width, the new excavator is a tailor-made equipment solution for the Chinese market and has been built, say Volvo, to be the largest machine in its class in the market today.

Volvo CE will also show off their A40F articulated hauler – winner of the ‘red dot: best of the best’ product design award – and highlight their expertise in road machinery with a display of pavers and compactors, including the ABG6820 asphalt paver.

As well as new products, the company will promote their extensive range of aftermarket options, including customer support agreements (CSAs) and remanufactured parts service.
