Vision Techniques introduce VT Alarmalight

Vision Techniques VT Alarmalight

Innovative new reversing alarm system combines fully adjustable visual and audible warnings

AN innovative new reversing system, the VT Alarmalight from Vehicle safety specialists Vision Techniques, is designed to help eliminate reversing accidents in noisy mine and quarry environments where reversing alarms may not be audible to workers wearing ear protectors.

In addition to an ordinary audible warning, the new reversing alarm’s built-in high-intensity LED flashing lights provide an even more effective warning for workers and other quarry vehicles.

With a clear audible and visible warning, others are aware of reversing vehicles, preventing accidents in an efficient and cost-effective way. Two or more reversing alarms can be fitted to act in unison if necessary.

VT Alarmalight is also especially useful when used in residential areas at night, where noise pollution from vehicle reversing alarms can be a problem. In such situations the volume can be turned down or muted and the LED strobe light intensified, thereby continuing to provide an effective warning without disturbing local residents.

Various modes, includes normal, mute (night silent), override, half volume, self-adjusting and mute by reversing twice, are available as standard. In addition, the durable and waterproof VT Alarmalight audible warning device can include bleeps, speech or both, depending on the application.
