VEGA announce product name changes
Monitoring system specialists introduce Vegapass and Vegamag bypass chamber, bridle and magnetic level indicator options
VEGA Controls Ltd have announced their existing range of bypass chamber, bridle and magnetic level indicators now come under new names. All bypass-mounted assemblies solely for VEGA guide and non-contact radar transmitters or level switches will come under the Vegapass brand. Meanwhile, all ‘dual technology’ systems (in combination with other VEGA products) using a magnetic level indicator (MLI) will be identified as Vegamag.
Vegapass is a chamber/bridle-mounted system supplied when a guided wave radar, non-contact/through air radar or vibrating level switch is used to offer easier installation, better performance and improved operational capability, delivering lower lifetime costs. Also available from VEGA are systems for directly replacing ‘mobrey style’ float switches with fail-safe, self-monitoring tuning fork switches (with or without chambers).
The Vegamag MLI system displays the level locally where no power supply is required. It is used in combination with a VEGA transmitter, which also measures/detects the level inside a connected or shared chamber. By using different level technique techniques, this offers alternative measurements and additional diagnostics to provide ‘safety through diversity’ in a single installation.
Optional features from valves and insulation to fittings and construction specifications are offered on both Vegapass and Vegamag products.
