Turnkey Instruments named as preferred suppliers
Turnkey Instruments have made an agreement with Hanson Aggregates to supply Simret F in-cab brake testers for all new Hanson vehicles over the next three years.
"Over the past six months Turnkey, working with Hanson and Marubeni-Komatsu, have developed a best-practice procedure for brake testing within the quarry workplace. The Simret F is permanently fitted in the vehicle cab, allowing the driver to carry out an accurate daily brake test with no disruption to normal working. The results are shown on a clear display to give the driver instant visual confirmation that the brakes are OK."
"Simret F can also be equipped to carry out additional tasks with the use of Fleet Manager software. When power is applied to the vehicle, Fleet Manager starts recording data on idle time, speed and number of loads etc. The instrument will record continuously for 33 days and data can be downloaded to a PC."
