Mettler-Toledo's latest weighbridges are fitted with digital Powercell load-cells, removing the downtime and repair costs associated with storm damage.

The load-cells are hermetically sealed in a stainless steel enclosure to IP68 standard and have an inherent lightning-protection system, making them safe against damage from moisture ingress and lightning strikes. They are also resistant to damage from radio frequency interference, temperature changes or off-centre loads.

Powercell load-cells can also replace analogue load-cells in existing weighbridges. Mettler-Toledo are offering a free weighbridge survey to companies to establish if their load-cells need upgrading.
