Selwood Pumps in Iraq

Largest single pump order received from recently appointed distributor

Selwood have been established in Iraq for many years and have recently received their largest single order from this country.

Selwood’s recently appointed distributors Al Badri Company, based in Basrah, have ordered four S150 units and five S100 units to be used for various applications within the sewage and oil industry sector. This is the second time Al Badri have ordered Selwood pumps with six Seltorques supplied last year.

For commercial and logistical reasons, Al Badri placed their orders through Al Masaood Oil Industry Supplies, Selwood-appointed distributors based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, who have many years experience working within the oil industry sector in the Middle East and who have been key in making this business happen.



Proprietor Mr Ali Al Badri has recently opened a shop in Basra with the Selwood name prominently displayed. This is a very positive step forward for the Iraqi market and it is anticipated that more orders will be generated later this year.
