Kevin McDermott joins Schenck Process UK to spearhead aggregate market launch

KEVIN McDermott has joined Doncaster-based Schenck Process UK as IBS Heavy sales engineer for the aggregates sector, as the company seeks to expand its sales activities into new markets, with a particular focus on the quarrying industry.

Mr McDermott (pictured) brings with him a wealth of experience accumulated over 20 years in the field of aggregates production and has a successful track record in technical sales and business development within the industry.

Schenck Process UK have recently combined with Clyde Process and Redler, who are all members of the Schenck Process Group, to offer a broad combination of equipment and technologies for screening, weighing, feeding, conveying and air filtration.

The LinaClass vibrating screen range, for example, has been extensively used in quarries and processing plants around the world, to help ensure the efficient separation of a wide range of minerals and materials ranging from hard and soft rocks to sinter dusts.

Manufactured by Schenck Process, the design of LinaClass machines is based on extensive material testing to ensure the best performance and processing efficiencies, while the screen media commonly used with these machines is from the Group’s specialist company Screenex.

With more than 40 years’ experience in the specification and manufacture of screen media in a variety of hard-wearing materials, Screenex are able to offer the best solution for use in combination with the Schenck Process vibrating screen range, or for retrofitting to existing installed screens.
