Sandhurst expand into access rental

Company adds to rental portfolio with initial £3 million investment in powered access equipment

SANDHURST, the nationwide excavator attachment rental specialists who are well known for their heavy-duty breakers, have announced the addition of access equipment to their rental portfolio.

The company says it is already well into an initial £3 million investment programme to equip a number of strategically placed regional rental centres with powered access equipment.

 

Having secured a team of experienced access professionals to co-ordinate the promotion and operation of the new division, so far Sandhurst Access Rental have equipped their strategic rental centres in Rochester, Bristol and Birmingham to cover London and the South East, the South West and the Midlands respectively.

The company includes in its rental portfolio a full range of low-level and powered access solutions under 20m, together with telescopic and articulated booms over 40m for high-level access. The bulk of the range is made up of personnel lifts, compact electric scissors, diesel scissors, rough-terrain slab scissors and articulated booms.

Sandhurst say that, in the future, they intend to roll out their Access Rental products across other strategically located rental centres covering the North West, North East and Scotland.
