Raymond Brown achieve Investors in People accreditation

Accolade represents company’s commitment to developing, supporting and motivating its workforce

RAYMOND Brown have been recognized for the way they support and develop their staff by achieving Investors in People accreditation – the UK’s most successful framework for business improvement through people management.

The company was recognized for its commitment to attracting, retaining and nurturing good people, with the assessors specifically highlighting the directors’ efforts to build an open and transparent culture.

 

For Raymond Brown, the accolade represents a commitment to developing, supporting and motivating their colleagues, tying in with the company’s ‘Great Place to Work’ initiative.

According to the company, tangible improvements are being made as part of this initiative, which is currently being rolled out across the business and its 230 employees.

The initiative focuses on five key areas: training/development; employee engagement; leadership; employee benefits; and the workplace environment.

A number of developments have been made over the past six months, including implementing a flexible benefits package, a new management training programme and identifying and developing three new core values: Passion, Responsibility and Engagement.
