Q8Oils appoint new distributor
Crown Oil to supply full range of Q8Oil premium-quality branded lubricants
CROWN Oil have been appointed as an authorized distributor for the full range of Q8Oils high-quality branded lubricants in the UK market. The agreement will also complement Crown Oil’s own range of lubricants manufactured at their blending plant in Bury, Lancashire.
Mark Andrews, group general manager for Crown Oil, explained: ‘Q8Oils produce advanced lubricants for engines, gearboxes and axles to promote fuel efficiency and protect the environment. These products carry extensive technical approvals and official endorsement from leading commercial and passenger vehicle manufacturers such as Mercedes, Volvo, Porsche and Cummins. This is a new market segment for Crown Oil and one that fits comfortably within our existing business.’
In addition to their advanced formulations for extended life between changes, Q8Oils lubricants are notable for their unique packaging. The optional bag-in-box pack makes product handling cleaner, more convenient and less likely to cause spillage. The tidy packs are also simpler and less costly to dispose of than conventional cans and drums.
A sales team of 40 staff are undertaking a comprehensive training programme on the Q8Oils range to ensure users are advised on the best lubricant for their applications. Normal order turnaround will be five days, but provision can be made for express delivery in an emergency. Quantities are available in bulk, 205-litre drums, 25-litre containers or smaller pack sizes.
