"THE world’s largest radial tyre, the 59/80R63 V-Steel E-Lug S from Bridgestone Corp is due to be launched this spring."

"Developed for the next generation of ultra-large mining dumptrucks which will carry loads of up to 400 tonnes, the tyre is over 13ft 2in tall, 4ft 10in across, weighs over five tonnes, and is the first to have a nominal load rating of over 100 tonnes."

 

"Produced at Bridgestone’s manufacturing plant in Shimonoseki, Japan, the tyre is over 4in taller and 3.6in wider than the previous biggest tyre, the Bridgestone 55/80R63."
