PLANTWORX 2013 Countdown Event
Show organizers holding a ‘one year to go’ event at Stoneleigh Park on 24 May 2012
PLANTWORX 2013 will be holding a ‘Countdown Event’ at Stoneleigh Park from 10am to 3pm on Thursday 24 May 2012.
‘The ‘One Year to Go Event’ is an excellent opportunity to see what we have planned for 12 months’ time – it’s also a chance for companies considering exhibiting at the show to come along and find out all about the exhibition,’ said event director Simon Frere-Cook.
‘As a brand new construction event, it is vitally important we get things right first time to make PLANTWORX a successful ongoing construction event for the UK.’
The Countdown event will run alongside the CITS (Combined Industries Theft Solutions) Conference, with guest speakers including Lord Henley, Minister of State for Crime Prevention.
Those attending the event will see the launch of the Security Village, which will be a major feature at the 2013 show. The Security village is being organized in conjunction with the CITS and Datatag, who deliver the CESAR security scheme on behalf of PLANTWORX organizers, the CEA (Construction Equipment Association).
Also on the Countdown Event agenda will be a presentation from construction journalist Nick Johnson on how exhibitors can get the best from a ‘live demonstration’. The PLANTWORX Awards will also be announced with details of categories and criteria.
In addition, informal workshops are planned to help exhibitors get the most out of being at PLANTWORX, with ideas for promotion and how to make best use of the media. There will also be information on the proposed HS2 railway from London to Birmingham, as well as a networking lunch that will give attendees the chance to meet with other delegates.
