NSSGA names new president and CEO
Michele Stanley announced as new president and chief executive officer of National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association
THE National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) has announced Michele Stanley as its new president and chief executive officer.
Ms Stanley has been with NSSGA for more than 10 years, serving in various roles in government affairs, most recently as executive vice-president and chief advocacy officer. During her tenure, she helped grow the Association into a leading advocate for infrastructure investment and the aggregates industry.
‘As we embark on the next era of the Association, Michele will steer NSSGA to achieve real results for members,’ said NSSGA 2025 chair Ted Baker II of Blue Water Industries. ‘NSSGA’s officers and executive committee were unanimous in our support of Michele leading the Association as our next CEO. With her wealth of advocacy experience, Capitol Hill connections, and industry knowledge, I am confident that she is the perfect fit for the role.’
Ms Stanley will now lead the association during a critical time for the industry, as Congress is working through its tax reform package and the reauthorization of the surface transportation bill, which is set to expire in 2026.
‘From navigating the complexities of government affairs to charting the course for the entire Association, I’m energized by the opportunity to leverage my experience for a broader vision and build an even stronger industry future together,’ said Ms Stanley.
Prior to her roles at NSSGA, Ms Stanley served on the government affairs team at the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA).
