Nobel Fire System to present Stat-X range

Company to show award-winning revolutionary fire-protection system at Plantworx 2013
NOBEL will be exhibiting their Stat-X range of automatic condensed aerosol fire suppression systems at Plantworx. Combining both science and technology, the Stat-X units provide innovative and advanced fire protection for the most challenging operations in the construction equipment industry.
As proof of its global acceptance in this critical area of fire suppression, Stat-X is approved by Allianz Insurance for mobile plant protection and has undergone extensive testing with UL, ULC and other organizations for land-based applications. According to Nobel, the fire-suppression system is used by the UK Military, US Military, NASA, Eurostar, MCA, Toyota and many others on their plant, equipment and vehicles.
The product has recently been awarded runner-up spot in the Plantworx 2013 innovation awards ‘Safety category’. This category considered products that offer the greatest boost to safety of workers and is further testimony to the overall operational effectiveness of Stat-X.
Stat-X fixed systems (pictured) are highly advanced, automatic, condensed-aerosol fire-suppression solutions. These unique, robust generators are eco-friendly and non-toxic, and are saving lives and protecting property for facilities, machinery, vehicles, and industrial sites around the globe. Capable of being manually, thermally or electrically activated by industry-standard control panels, Stat-X provides powerful, economic fire-suppression solutions.
Life-threatening and dangerous fires can occur at any time in the construction equipment industry. Protecting vehicles, mobile equipment and electrical components from fire is made even more critical given the presence of large quantities of flammable diesel fuel, hydraulic fluids and lubricating oils. Add to the mix hot exhausts and ancillary electrical hazards associated with heavy plant, and this has all the ingredients for potential disaster.
The Nobel Stat-X system offers easy, cost-effective installations for all these types of challenging applications. The Stat-X application technology requires no pressure vessels, manifolds, nozzles or pipework – factors which result in significant installation and maintenance savings.
Nobel Fire Systems have also considered a wide variety of construction environments, and as such Stat-X is available in the form of electrically, thermally or manually activated units. Where a control system is required, Nobel have a range of specifically designed control panels to interface fire detection and actuation of the Stat-X units.
These panels can be connected to plant power supplies (12–30V DC) or there is an invaluable ability to provide a totally standalone, self-sufficient unit that requires no outside power source. The units can provide up to 10 years of low-maintenance, high-efficiency control and integration.
The panels also have a tamper-proof manual release button to allow the driver/operator to actuate the system manually. It also facilitates full fault monitoring on all detector and actuation circuits to ensure any faults with the system are immediately flagged to the driver. The system control panels provide bespoke configuration to meet the requirements of each and every risk.
