New permission

"ENNSTONE plc’s Scottish trading subsidiary, Ennstone Thistle Ltd, have been granted permission by Argyll and Bute Council to extract and process 1.1 million tonnes of sand and gravel, and erect a concrete plant, on a new 61.4ha site at Culcharron, near Oban. Extraction will take place from 23.3ha over a 20-year period, during which the site will be progressively restored to heathland."
