New pan-European approach for Nynas Bitumen

Rafael Renaudeau

Company announces appointment of Rafael Renaudeau as vice-president of Nynas Bitumen

NYNAS have announced the appointment of Rafael Renaudeau as vice-president of Nynas Bitumen and a member of the Nynas group executive committee, in a move towards a new pan-European approach.

Mr Renaudeau (pictured), who has a thorough commercial and operational background having held various positions within Nynas, will now manage a newly formed organization that will cover the entire Nynas Bitumen business area.

The new organization will be responsible for all sales, marketing, operations and technical development. For Nynas customers, all sales contacts will remain the same but the company’s service to the market will be further strengthened by the new and stronger organizational structure.

Bo Askvik, president and chief executive officer of Nynas, said: ‘We are creating a new bitumen business organization by merging our operations in the Nordic region, the UK and Western Europe.

‘Market trends such as increased pan-European focus, sustainable development focus, digitization of customer experience, product development and more require a holistic approach. Our response is a pan-European organization which will benefit both Nynas and our customers.’
