New marketing director for Lafarge Cement

Andy Murphy has been appointed as Lafarge Cement UK’s new sales and marketing director, replacing Charles Law who will be moving to a senior position within the Lafarge Group.

His promotion comes just 12months after being initially promoted to head up the sales team. He will report directly to Lafarge Cement UK’s managing director, Erdogan Pekenc.

Murphy said he would continue to drive the company’s sustainability message: “I’ll be working with the business development teams to ensure we continue to push forward the case for a more sustainable initiatives and innovations,” he said.
