New jaw crusher added to Lokotrack range

METSO Minerals have complemented their Lokotrack range with the launch of the Lokotrack LT116 jaw plant – a compact, easily transportable, 400+ tonne capacity machine equipped with a new jaw crusher and the latest in crusher automation technology. A sister model, the LT116S, comes equipped with an easily detachable screen.

Designed for crushing hard rock and rock-based recycled materials as a stand-alone unit or in combination with Lokotrack secondary and tertiary units and mobile screens, the 50-tonne LT116 is built around the new C116 jaw crusher, which features a new cavity design for better grip and maximum inter-cavity crushing.

The C116 crusher has a feed opening of 1,150mm x 800mm, providing a maximum feed size of 640mm. The jaw plates of the C116 are interchangeable between the fixed and moving sides, providing longer life, better operational performance and easier logistics.

Depending on the method of feeding, the LT116 can be equipped with a standard 6 cu m or optional 9 cu m feed hopper. For quick set-up, the feed hopper flanks can be folded hydraulically.

The LT116 is powered by an environmental-friendly Caterpillar 310kW (415hp) Tier 3 engine and features an advanced IC500 intelligent control system, which offers a single-button process start for ease of operation, automatic process control and built-in trouble-shooting diagnostics.

The new sister model, the Lokotrack LT116S, comes with a detachable one-deck screen module featuring a 3.9 sq m screening area and 20–80mm screen mesh options.

Both the LT116 and LT116S can be equipped with a wide range of optional equipment including: a longer, hydraulically folding discharge conveyor; radio remote controls; a magnetic separator; and a high-voltage generator.
