New Holland launch compact telehandler

Telehandler range expanded to eight models with the addition of the LM625

New Holland Construction will unveil the latest addition to their telehandler range, the LM625, at the Intermat 2012 show.

This ‘all-access’ compact model was designed to work efficiently in tough conditions and confined spaces, where dimensions and manoeuvrability are key.

The new LM625 is 1.8m wide and less than 2m high. With an operating weight of just 4,800kg, this compact model gives a powerful performance, lifting up to 2.5 tons and reaching a maximum height of nearly 6m. The LM625’s performance is backed by the machine’s robust chassis, designed to deal with the toughest jobs.

The narrow turning radius of 3.4m means that the LM625 is able to work efficiently in the tightest spaces. The single-lever controls with proportional control of the boom’s extension and retraction and auxiliary flow allow the operator to position the load with maximum precision, working fast and efficiently. The hydrostatic transmission gives the operator smooth control of the machine. The auto-locking front differential axle delivers exceptional pushing power. All these features, together with the permanent four-wheel drive and the ground clearance with superior approach and departure angles, add up to outstanding productivity in all situations and make this model particularly suitable in jobsites with confined spaces.

The sleek design with ample glazed area gives the operator improved all-round visibility and up to the fully extended boom, making it easy to work safely and with confidence in confined spaces. The machine’s stability resulting from the LM625’s low centre of gravity and optimal weight distribution further contributes to safety on the jobsite.

In contrast with the compact size of the machine, the ROPS- and FOPS-compliant cab is spacious and offers the operator a comfortable workstation with ergonomically placed controls and adjustable tilting steering column.

The range of factory-fitted attachments and the availability of couplers to fit skid-steer loader and other brands’ attachments ensure the LM625 is easily and quickly adapted to a wide variety of operating requirements.
