New hand-held weight indicator
PM On Board have launched their new 510 FreeWeigh hand-held weight indicator which is suitable for almost any type of road transport vehicle.
"The radio remote display provides drivers with the freedom to weigh the vehicle’s payload, zero the display and print out weight details up to 50m away from the cab. Fully tested, the 510 FreeWeigh is small enough to fit in a pocket and works in combination with PM’s 1200 and 1250 cab indicators. By pressing the mode key, net, load, total and gross weights can be selected and displayed. When the driver needs loaded weight information, the mode key provides the flexibility to display the weight so that the loading of the vehicle can be interrupted."
The transceivers fitted to the 510 FreeWeigh and the cab or chassis-mounted indicator provide two-way communication between the driver and the vehicle. The 15 selectable channels ensure there is no cross-talk or interference.
