New generation weighing control
Chrono-Tronic SpeedAC 8 is a new-generation weighing controller from Chronos Richardson which utilizes 32-bit technology and can be used in combination with many different weighers.
It achieves the accuracy requirements of OIML R61, while its static accuracy complies with class III as per OIML R76 or EN 4550 1. For bag-filling applications, the SpeedAC 8 has an approved resolution of 6,000 digits and an internal resolution of 200,000 digits. Under UK National Weights and Measures (NWML) certificate number 2535 SpeedAC 8 can operate across the range of bag weights from 5kg to 50kg, and with the approved load-cell converstion package, certificate number 2027/25.
The standard version of SpeedAC 8 has various in-built industry-standard interfaces to communicate with existing peripheral equipment. All functions are selected via menus; a large mimic display depicts all essential data and information. Different languages can be selected. There are 50 set points and more can be added if required. An in-built diagnostic library provides a comprehensive trouble-shooting tool, with the back-up of an optional remote maintenance facility if necessary.
