New general manager at Express Asphalt

Aggregate Industries bolsters Express Asphalt division with appointment of Victoria Smith

AGGREGATE Industries have bolstered their Express Asphalt team with the appointment of Victoria Smith as general manager.

Ms Smith has worked within the construction industry, and within the Aggregate Industries business, for more than 16 years, having begun her career in internal sales.

She previously worked for Express Asphalt as a business manager several years ago before moving on to Aggregate Industries’ ready-mixed concrete and screed offer.

In her new role, she will be based at Aggregate Industries’ office in Croft, Leicestershire, where she will be responsible for 37 Express Asphalt sites across England and Wales.

Commenting on her appointment, Ms Smith (pictured) said: ‘I am excited to take over the leadership of the Express Asphalt division and to rejoin such a dedicated and motivated team that really does put customers at the forefront of everything that it does.

‘I am looking forward to further enhancing the Express Asphalt culture of innovation and first-class service.’

Aggregate Industries’ Express Asphalt service includes a customer ‘click and collect’ facility, with a guaranteed turnaround of 30 minutes for single loads of standard products, allowing customers to order asphalt (or tools and equipment) and pick it (them) up from any one of the 41 Express Asphalt depots located across England, Wales and Scotland.

The collection service can also be accessed via the Express Asphalt app and the Express Collect app.
