New filter press from Haith
Haith Industrial have launched a fully automatic, self-discharging, multi-roller, side-bar filter press, offering a range of belt widths from 1m to 3m with a standard length of 6m to provide for extended free drainage.
The company say that, by using a combination of core technological components, the new machine offers greater flexibility within a standard process design. As corrosion is a key issue Haith have also incorporated a galvanized steel framework and stainless steel catchment filtrate trays as standard.
The unit is said to offer: higher throughput; continuous operation; dryer, easier to handle cake; high-quality filtrate; and lower operation supervision with the minimum of maintenance.
