New externally mounted HDVS from Transport Support

High-voltage detection system

All-weather high-voltage detection system suitable for all plant and machinery with variable height

TRANSPORT Support have launched a new all-weather high-voltage detection system (HVDS) designed to prevent all types of plant and machinery with a variable height from coming into contact with high-voltage overhead power lines.

The system consists of an externally mounted detection antenna and fully waterproof audio/visual warning unit, suitable for mounting next to external controls. The system can sense the presence of overhead power cables from up to 100m away, warning the operator of the potential danger.

Supplied as a standalone unit (12–24V) or as an integrated part of Transport Support’s vehicle safety systems, the HDVS system can be fitted to tipper vehicles, excavators, telehandlers, cranes, platforms etc.

The plug-and-play system requires no user calibration and features adjustable sensitivity, an audio visual in-cab warning, an auxiliary switching function and an auto-resetting mute feature.
