New engine protector

The Wasp FuelStop is designed to stop the fuel supply to a diesel engine if separated water is not drained down, preventing water from entering the fuel system accidentally.

This simple fuel-water separator utilizes the separated water to lift a float, which starts to restrict the fuel flow and begins to starve the engine of fuel. This gives the first indication that separated water must be drained off. If ignored the engine will eventually stop completely.

Draining off the separated water will lower the float and allow fuel to pass through the FuelStop so the engine can be re-started.

The fuel-water separator, which has a maximum flow rate of 75 litres/h, has a see-through plastic bowl allowing a visual check of any separated water, together with an aluminium head, air-bleed screw and mounting bracket with standard mounting hole centres. A single centre-bolt construction allows quick and simple bowl removal for maintenance purposes.
