New electronic stethoscope

Agriemach have unveiled their new electronic stethoscope, which, the company claim, can quickly and easily locate the source of unwanted noise and sounds in mechanical equipment.

The highly sensitive electronic circuitry has a microphone at the end of an 8in flexible shaft, which picks up the slightest noise and transmits it to a pair of comfortable earphones. Attached to a cord, the earphones amplify the sound while blocking out external noises, allowing the user to hear and identify the cause of noise without interruption.

The electronic stethoscope has been designed to detect a number of noises and sounds, including air and water leaks, bearing squeaks and rattles, faulty lifters and valve knocks.

A 9V alkaline battery and a durable plastic moulded storage case are included in the kit.
