New crusher from BL-Pegson

"The new 4242 SR from BL-Pegson is based around their Trakpactor horizontal impact crusher and comprises a crushing, screening and stockpiling unit built on one tracked chassis."

"Suitable for primary or secondary applications, the Cat-powered 4242 SR can handle capacities up to 360 tonnes/h, depending on the feed material and finished product size. And depending on the set-up, one, two or three screened product sizes can be produced and stock-piled. Alternatively, oversize material can be recirculated back to the crusher via an on-board conveyor to give a guaranteed finished top size."

"The unit features a heavy-duty vibrating grizzly feeder with a two-step grizzly, a built-in underscreen and a folding side conveyor for either stockpiling waste material or a fourth product. Scalped material can be fed on to the main product conveyor via a by-pass chute to increase the overall capacity. Crushed material passes an overband magnetic separator for the removal of rebar and steel when used in recycling applications, before being fed on to a 3,353mm x 1,524mm two-deck screen for sizing. To reduce environmental impact, dust-suppression sprays are included as standard."

"The plant can be set-up and working within 10min of arrival on site and, at an approximate operating weight of 40 tonnes, can be transported on a low-bed trailer. Maintenance and screen mesh changing is simplified by the use of an access system (patent applied for)."
