New communications appointment at NSSGA

National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association hires Chuck Fuqua as vice-president of communications

THE National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) has hired Chuck Fuqua as vice-president of communications to lead its communications efforts and represent the US aggregates industry and advance its policy positions.

Mr Fuqua (pictured) brings more than two decades of leading communications coalitions, policy issue projects and strategic planning across the fields of government, politics and trade associations.

Michael W. Johnson, president and chief executive officer of NSSGA, said: ‘Chuck brings a wealth of experience from a strong, multi-faceted communications career here in the nation’s capital.

‘He has experience in Congress, with the press and building strong communications teams at trade associations and will play a key role in our mission to advocate on behalf of our members and give voice to the issues that are most pressing for our industry.’
