New belt weigher

T.A. Shore have developed a range of belt weighers which, they say, can achieve an accuracy of +-0.5% or better with a single idler configuration.

Two sets of double flexures carry the idler set which is supported by a single fully floating cantilever load-cell. The mechanical arrangement ensures a sensitivity of 1 part in 10,000 along the idler width, achieving high accuracy on lightly or heavily loaded conveyor belts. The arrangement can be tailored to suit conveyor widths from 250mm to 2,500mm and the weigher can be quickly installed on existing conveyors.

The C3000 belt-weigher integrator and indicator is available with both analogue and digital outputs for remote transmission.
