New 3D lasers from Pulsar

"Following recent improvements in laser distance-measuring equipment and other related components, Pulsar Measuring Systems, who have been supplying laser-profiling and hole-deviation equipment for use with a variety of blast-survey software packages for over 10 years, have introduced two new compact and lightweight 3D laser-profiling instruments, the PMS 100 and PMS 100LR."

"Both units run off two AA batteries and use the same Datamat 5 recorder as the company’s Pulsar Probe, and both offer a 125/300m passive range with an accuracy of ±3–5cm, together with a tilt angle of ±50° with vertical and horizontal angles accurate to 0.03°."

"In addition, both lasers have a built-in inclinometer so they can be used for hand-held 2D surveying prior to drilling in order to optimize drill hole position. Once all the holes have been drilled the units can be mounted on the angulation yoke and used for a complete 3D face survey in conjunction with the Pulsar Probe."
