Ben Frettsome and Bert Hart

Equip2 appointed as McCloskey Washing Systems dealer, official distributor and authorized service provider

AS part of their ongoing global expansion, McCloskey Washing Systems (MWS) have appointed Equip2, specialist suppliers of crushers, screens, de-waterers and stackers, as their new dealer, official distributor and authorized service provider for MWS washing equipment in New Zealand and Oceania.

Equip2, who have more than 30 employees based in multiple locations throughout the territory, will extend their existing portfolio with MWS’s extensive range of washing and classification equipment for use in quarrying, contracting, mining, recycling and demolition applications.

Commenting on their appointment, Bert Hart (right), head of sales at Equip2, said: ‘We had been thinking for some time about adding machine models with different capabilities to our line up and, after being approached by a number of vendors, decided that McCloskey Washing Systems would be the best fit for us and our brand.

‘The partnership is a strategic step that will provide a strong support structure to customers as well as widen our product offering. McCloskey products are renowned throughout the world for their quality, so are a natural fit for the equipment we already distribute.’

Ben Frettsome (left), technical sales and applications manager at McCloskey Washing Systems, commented: ‘We are very pleased to welcome Equip2 to our global family of dealers. They have an excellent sales and service capability and are situated in a key area that will give us greater coverage in New Zealand.’

Ultimately, the new agreement will bring the full range of MWS equipment to New Zealand, including the MWS Modular range, SandStorm, AggStorm and compact sand plants (CSP), but initially Equip2 plan to add two key models – the CSP120 and S130 rinser plants.
