More Volvo machines for CPI

Chepstow Plant (International) Ltd continue significant investment in Volvo Construction Equipment products

HAVING purchased a total of 50 Volvo excavators, articulated haulers and loading shovels during 2010, Chepstow Plant (International) Ltd have continued their investment spend with orders placed for a further 40 Volvo units this year.

Monmouthshire-based Chepstow Plant (International) Ltd, who specialize in high-production projects in the UK and abroad, are also the first firm to have taken delivery of two Perlini DP405 rigid dumptrucks since the Volvo Construction Equipment Division became the official dealer for the Perlini range of rigid haulers in June 2010.

The majority of machines for 2011 comprise Volvo A25F and A40F articulated haulers with a mix of shovels and excavators ranging from the EW160C to the latest EC380D – the package being both a replacement programme as well as an increment to the CPI fleet.

‘Our business has become synonymous with the operation of quality products for the projects we undertake where high production capacity and high availability is called for,’ said CPI’s managing director, John Corcoran. ‘In our opinion, continuing to opt for models from the Volvo range supports a sound business partnership between us, our clients and our supplier.’

To provide added value to CPI’s customer base, all the Volvo-supplied products are equipped with CareTrack telematics utilizing the latest technology in machine management. Moreover, all the Volvo equipment supplied to CPI during 2010 and for 2011 is covered under a Volvo Blue Customer Support Agreement.
