Mobile screen from Rhewum

Rhewum (GB) Ltd have launched a mobile version of their WAU high-performance screen. The track-mounted unit folds up for transport and is said to be quick and easy to erect once on site.

The unit has a heavy-duty feed hopper with variable-speed feed conveyor, variable-speed main conveyor, WAU 1,500mm wide x 3,600mm long single-deck screen and two discharge conveyors, all mounted on a heavy-duty chassis with hydraulic-drive crawler tracks.

The WAU screen is suitable for screening sticky or damp material (0.5mm to 6mm). Designed primarily for processing hard rock, the screen is capable of handling up to 130 tonnes/h of –40mm material and screening out –3mm material with a moisture content of up to 13% on standard stainless steel screen meshes with little or no blinding.

The screen is also suitable for removing –5mm material from construction and demolition waste.
