MOBA herald record year with new appointments

Ian Lewis

Ian Lewis promoted to managing director as UK subsidiary reports year-on-year sales growth of 52% in 2014

MOBA, providers of machine control systems for the waste logistics and construction industry, have reported year-on-year sales growth of 52% for 2014; the highest increase in sales since the inception of the company.

With a further 25% growth in sales expected during 2015, the company has made a number of significant appointments. Ian Lewis, previously MOBA UK’s general manager, has been promoted to managing director, reflecting the growing importance the UK subsidiary is now playing in worldwide MOBA group of companies.

Other appointments include additional northern-based service engineers, plus new software project engineers, all of whom will allow MOBA to boost their customer service offering and help the company market its sophisticated machine control systems.

‘The credit for our outstanding sales performance must go to our growing team as well as our established range of products that are starting to transform the conservative, yet under-developed, construction market,’ commented Ian Lewis (pictured).

‘Although the construction sector will continue to be challenging in 2015, we believe that the government-led investment that will be ploughed into the UK’s road maintenance programme will deliver increased demand for our thermal paving and levelling technology.

‘Sales will also be boosted by the increased adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) by contractors and developers in road construction schemes, to improve the overall quality and accountability in their projects.’
