Metso appoint new Japanese distributor

Kureha Elastomer Co. to focus on offering screen media, wear lining and conveyor accessories the aggregates industry

KUREHA Elastomer Co. Ltd are joining Metso’s distributor community. The company will focus on offering Metso’s screening media, wear lining and conveyor accessories for the aggregates industry in Japan.

Established in 1943, Kureha Elastomer have strong experience in manufacturing and selling synthetic solutions for various industries. With their head office in Osaka, the company has 300 employees and sales branches in Tokyo, Nagoya and Kuyshu. In addition, the company operates two rubber plants in the cities of Tsu and Kameyama.

Metso serve the Japanese aggregates and construction market through their distributors. Japan’s annual output of aggregates is around 400 million tonnes. With Japan hosting the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo and the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, significant investment in various infrastructure projects is anticipated.
