Kurimoto to represent full range of MDS heavy-duty rock trommels and conveyors across Japan

MDS, manufacturers of heavy-duty rock trommels and conveyors, have announced the appointment of Kurimoto as their first distributor in the Far East. Effective immediately, Kurimoto will represent the MDS range of heavy-duty materials processing equipment and be responsible for providing sales, service, and support for MDS products throughout Japan.

Based in Osaka, Kurimoto are well-regarded across Japan for their commitment to customer satisfaction, product excellence, and market expertise. Their deep-rooted experience in the industry dates back to 1909, supplying and supporting products that contribute to the improvement of social infrastructure.

Having already been a Finlay distributor, MDS will be the second Terex brand to be represented by Kurimoto, who believe that MDS heavy-duty trommels will help expand their offering within the quarrying, mining, and demolition and recycling sectors. They say the MDS M518R recycling trommel will be a particularly welcome addition to their portfolio.

‘We take great pride in becoming a distributor for MDS and offering their exceptional products to our customers,’ said Kurimoto general manager Yoshio Yanagida. ‘There is great potential for MDS throughout Japan, which had recycling trommels and regular screeners and scalpers but was missing mobile heavy-duty trommels. With the introduction of MDS, we will be better able to process overburden in quarries as well as concrete demolition waste.’

MDS business development manager Raheel Qamar commented: ‘We are excited to welcome Kurimoto to the MDS family. Entering the Far East market is a pivotal moment for us, and we believe that Kurimoto are the perfect collaborators to help us reach and serve customers in Japan, which is renowned for equipment that is of high quality.

‘Kurimoto’s dedication to excellence and deep local knowledge of our industry makes them an invaluable addition to our global network. I look forward to working closely with the team to build and develop MDS across Japan.’

The appointment of Kurimoto as distributor for Japan is part of the ongoing global expansion of MDS, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and reliable products to customers worldwide while providing localized support and knowledge.
