MDL launch new Boretrack
The new Boretrack cabled from MDL is a borehole deviation surveying system that has been redesigned to be more compact and lightweight.
The Boretrack system calculates the borehole’s deviation from vertical at fixed intervals as it is lowered down or raised up blast-holes. Combined digital compass/inclinometer sensors located within a cabled probe transmit the data to the surface where it is displayed and recorded by a field computer. The data can then be downloaded to a range of PC software packages for processing.
