Manitou launch new Construction range in UK

Manitou MT 1335 telehandler

Company introduces three new compact and versatile mid-height telehandler models

MANITOU UK have announced the UK launch of three new mid-height models in their Construction range – the MT 835, MT 1135 and MT 1335.

Replacing the earlier MT732, MT932 and MT1030 models, Manitou say the new range has been simplified and all three models have identical designs (chassis, boom, engine, transmission, hydraulics), and all are in compliance with the new European standards.

All three new models are powered by a Stage IIIB/Tier 4 Interim Perkins four-cylinder engine providing 102hp (75kW) and 420Nm of torque at 1,400 rev/min.

The MT 835, MT 1135 and MT 1335 offer lifting heights of 7.75m, 11.05m and 12.55m, respectively, and all three machines have a nominal lifting capacity of 3,500kg, a compact turning circle of 3.85m and a large ground clearance of 41cm.

Frame levelling is a standard feature on the MT 1135 and the MT 1335, allowing these two machines to adapt themselves to all ground configurations, with up to 10° of correction.

Operator comfort on all three models is catered for by a new, spacious panoramic cab, accessible via a large door, with new dashboard and single-lever joystick with JSM (Joystick Switch & Move) facility.

A load status regulator adapts to three working modes (forks, bucket and crane jib), to ensure machine stability, while rear axle locking is activated automatically in access platform mode.

In addition, all three models offer improved access for maintenance, while real-time machine diagnostics are displayed on the new dashboard’s multi-function screen.
