Lubricating with Interlube

In recent years Interlube Systems have been focusing heavily on the design and manufacture of their industrial greasing equipment. All the company’s products have been tried and tested and results have shown significant improvements in the efficiency and life retention of moving parts lubricated by Interlube’s greasing systems.

The HDI range of grease pumps from the manufacturer ensures that lubrication is consistently and efficiently delivered to bearings and pins when used in conjunction with progressive divider valves. Available in three-, six-, nine or 15-litre reservoirs, the HDI pumps are suitable for greases up to NGLI 2 viscosity and can generate up to 350 bar pressure, which is adequate to overcome resistance caused by tight bearings.

The HDI grease pumps include a 24V DC controller (with adjustable ‘run’ and ‘dwell’ settings), remote alarm and low-level indicator. They also come with manual override for remote installation on existing units (eg driver cab, control room).

Interlube have also developed an electronically operated ‘Drum’ pump which can be connected to a hose reel supply system. This allows vulnerable areas to be greased, removing the need for mobile units to return to the plant service centre or workshop.

Interlube have a established distribution network across the world, with facilities in Asia and the US. The company’s technical engineering team can help customers design and develop bespoke greasing systems to meet their exact specifications. Design engineering services offered by the company include: environmental testing; vibration assessment and full EMC compatibility.

Cheltenham-based MSP Ltd, part of Interlube, specialize in the installation, repair and maintenance of automatic lubrications systems for both mobile and static plant in the UK. The subsidiary has recently expanded its UK network of service engineers (all hold SPA Quarry Passes) due to an increasing demand for installations and on-site maintenance contracts.
